Registration of stand-alone units

MSB has been rendering services including establishment and liquidation of stand-alone units, branches, or representative offices since 2004.

A company’s stand-alone unit means any unit that territorially isolated from the company with permanent workplaces at its location (article 11(2) of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation).

A representative office means a stand-alone unit of a legal entity that is located outside domicile of that entity, represents the legal entity and protects its interests.

A branch means a stand-alone unit of a legal entity that is located outside its domicile and performs all or some of its functions, including representative functions (article 55 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation).
